Score Reporting Guide
Step-by-step directions for reporting your game’s final score. The home team’s head coach reports each game within 24 hours; the league reviews it, then the scoreboard and standings update automatically.
Home Head Coach, Within 24 Hours
Reporting from a single side keeps every game to one clear entry — no conflicting or duplicate scores.
- The home team’s head coach submits the score — one report per game.
- Report within 24 hours of the game while the details are fresh.
- Visiting (away) coaches don’t submit — just confirm the home coach has it.
Three Quick Steps
The whole thing takes about a minute — from your phone at the field or a computer at home.
Open the form & find your game
Go to ebyfc.com/report-score — or on the site, Football → Report a Score. Choose the Age Group, Division, Week, then the matchup. A game marked “(score entered)” has already been reported and is locked.
Enter both final scores
You’re the home coach, so your team’s points go in Home Score and the visitors’ points go in Away Score — double-check which is which. Add your name, email, and select your team. Attach a photo of both teams’ MPR sheets (home and away are required), plus any notes.
Submit
Press Submit Score Report. You’ll see a confirmation that your report was submitted and will appear once the league reviews it. That’s all you need to do.
Reviewed, Then It Goes Live
Every report is reviewed by the league before anything is published. Once it’s approved, the game is marked final and the scoreboard and standings update automatically — usually within a day. Wins, losses, and points are calculated for you from completed games; there’s nothing else to fill in.
Good to Know
- Home coach only, one report per game.
- Report within 24 hours — ideally the same day.
- Both teams’ MPR sheets are required (home and away); they’re kept on file with the game.
- Once a score is posted, the game locks. To fix a posted score, email scoreboard@ebyfc.com.
- Scores range 0–200 and both are required.
Common Questions
I’m the away coach — do I report?
No. Only the home team’s head coach submits the score. Just check with the home coach to make sure it was reported.
The score isn’t showing yet.
It’s waiting on league review. Reports appear once they’re approved — usually within a day. No need to resubmit.
I made a mistake on a report.
Email scoreboard@ebyfc.com. If the game isn’t posted yet it’s corrected during review; if it’s already posted and locked, we’ll fix it.
Do I enter the standings?
No. The website calculates wins, losses, and points automatically from the final scores. Just report the game.
